Our Commitment

The safety and wellbeing of every student is Elevra Tutoring's highest priority. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive learning environment where children and young people can thrive.

This commitment applies to all tutoring sessions, whether in-person or online, and to all students regardless of age, ability, gender, ethnicity, or background.

This policy is informed by the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018), and guidance from the NSPCC.

What We Do

DBS Clearance

Enhanced DBS check currently in progress. Certificate details will be made available to parents upon request once obtained.

Professional Boundaries

Clear, appropriate boundaries are maintained at all times during sessions.

Online Safety

Online sessions use secure platforms. Sessions are conducted in appropriate settings with cameras on for transparency.

Session Transparency

Parents and guardians are welcome to sit in on any session, particularly the first one.

Communication

Communication with students under 18 is kept professional and transparent. Parents and guardians are informed of any direct contact arrangements and are welcome to be included in all communications.

We do not contact students via personal social media accounts. All communication takes place through professional channels such as email, phone, or messaging platforms agreed with the parent or guardian.
